This workshop offers a thoughtful and accessible introduction to formulation, with a focus on one carefully designed cream. Along the way, you will explore the structure of a cream, the role of key ingredients, the basics of essential oils, and how to approach skincare making in a safe and considered way.
All ingredients and tools are provided. Each participant will create approximately 190ml of cream to take home, along with a printed recipe and notes to support continued practice. Light refreshments, including tea, coffee and biscuits, will be available during the session.
Duration: approximately 2.5–3 hours
Maximum 8 participants per workshop, to ensure a calm, focused, and supportive experience.
Suitable for: ages 16+ (participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

The 2 People option is for two participants attending together, and each person will create their own individual cream to take home.
If all 2-person options are sold out and you would like to attend as a pair, please get in touch. If two places are still available, we may be able to offer the pair rate.
Cancellations made at least 5 days before the workshop are fully refundable. Cancellations made within 5 days of the workshop are non-refundable, but we may be able to offer an alternative date, subject to availability.

In the unlikely event that Yanka Creative Lab needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to a future workshop date. -
All ingredients and equipment required for the workshop are provided. Each participant will create approximately 190ml of organic cream to take home in a glass jar (provided), along with a printed recipe and supporting notes. Ingredients used are of high quality, with almost all being organic and carefully selected for this formulation.
During the session, you will also have the opportunity to explore and smell a curated selection of essential oils from Renata’s collection.
For your comfort and safety, aprons, gloves, and protective glasses are provided. Light refreshments, including tea, coffee and biscuits, will also be available.
If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own container for your cream.

The workshop begins with a introduction to the ingredients and formulation you will be working with. You will then be guided step by step through the process of making your own cream, with explanations provided throughout. There will also be time to explore ingredients, ask questions, and gain a basic understanding of skincare formulation in a calm and supportive environment.

This workshop is designed for complete beginners or anyone curious about how skincare is made. No previous experience is needed.

Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and discover. The workshop is designed to be a calm and enjoyable experience, so come ready to relax, create, and enjoy the process. Although aprons are provided, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting lightly stained, as this is a hands-on workshop working with oils and natural ingredients.

This workshop involves working with warm liquids, oils, and skincare materials. For your comfort and safety, protective equipment such as aprons, gloves, and safety glasses will be provided and should be used when required.
All formulations used during the workshop have been safety assessed, and ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers.
